I have had a natural affinity for creating art since childhood and eventually attended university to become an artteacher. I have enjoyed being involved with the art community of Havana and exploring several different formsof visual art whilst making a living by selling my ceramic works. My portfolio also includes art restoration and commissions and I strive to continue my craft using different kinds of mediums.

  • I work mostly with oil, acrylic and watercolour using brush or pallet knife, depending on the subject. To me, the most important part of my art is selecting the subject. I always think carefully and take my time choosingwhat I want to bring to the canvas. Sometimes it is about a colour scheme or an emotion, or it could be assimple as to complement a space. Generally, my intention is just to be suggestive and I like the viewer totake it from there, to find their very own connection and be comfortable with what they see.
