My creativity with colours was inspired very early on by the artwork of my grandfather, the local painter Max Maertins from Neuenhagen. But it was in 2014 when I found the time to reflect on my artistic roots that I finally discovered my own creative path.

One of the most important aspects of art for me is the ability to see – not only for the artist, but also for the viewer. Our senses are almost dulled by the flood of images we are exposed to every day. But if you relax, take your time to look at a painting without distraction and let what you see flow through your consciousness you will leave the experience with great impressions and feelings.
